Business redesign for the AI age

Faster isn't
different.

Most businesses are adding AI to a structure built before AI existed. We help you find the larger business AI makes possible, design it around human judgement and accountability, and build the first governed capabilities to get there.

Build the business AI makes possible

Make the AI age the most human era yet.

AI should expand human potential, not reduce people to a cost line. Mostly Human is not for businesses whose first question about AI is how many people it removes.

Why most AI transformation stops short

Most businesses will adopt AI. Very few will change because of it.

You didn't design this business for AI. Nobody did. Its layers, meetings and approvals were built to move information between people because that used to be expensive. It isn't any more.

Bolting AI onto that structure works. Things get faster. Reports land sooner, emails write themselves and someone saves four hours a week.

But faster isn't different. The structure is still the ceiling.

We design the business you would build if you started today, with intelligence in the foundations and people responsible for what matters.

Three levels. Only one changes the ceiling.

Efficiency work is useful. It simply does a different job from structural business redesign.

Task

A person does the same job faster.

Efficiency

Workflow

A process runs with fewer hands on it.

Efficiency

Structural

What the business sells, how it decides or who it depends on changes.

A different ceiling

If the business still sells the same value, makes decisions the same way and depends on the same people, it has become more efficient, not more different.

The starting point

Springboard finds the business you should be building.

Springboard is Mostly Human's flagship diagnostic. It answers one question: which larger market could this business be competing in, and what has to be built to get there?

It is not an AI-readiness assessment and it does not produce an automation list. We assess the opportunity first, then the operating engine and human capacity required to deliver it.

Reach

Is there a larger, economically attractive market this business can genuinely access? What advantage is worth building around?

Engine

How does the business decide, learn and reconfigure? Where is valuable judgement trapped, and how much of it has been secured?

People

What must remain human? Does the organisation have the trust, capability and accountability to realise the opportunity safely?

Springboard outputs

  • A strategic verdict, not a maturity badge.
  • The gap between the available opportunity and what the business can currently deliver.
  • A destination hypothesis showing a different-shaped business.
  • Named exposure where valuable judgement or market access is unsecured.
  • A first governed proof, or an honest not yet where the opportunity or mandate is missing.

Service architecture

Springboard redesigns the business you have. Disrupt builds the business the industry needs next.

How it works

From possibility to repeatable capability.

Mostly Human can carry the work from diagnosis into design, implementation and an operating rhythm the organisation can own.

1. Springboard

Which larger market could we occupy?

Opportunity, gap, exposure and destination hypothesis

2. Destination Architecture

What would we build if we started today?

Operating-model design, Human Charter and first proof

3. Build Programme

Can the judgement travel safely?

Governed capabilities delivered in contained waves

4. AI Operating Partner

How do we sustain and improve it?

Executive cadence, capability releases and governance reporting

Who it is for

Built for businesses with more headroom than capacity.

Springboard is for leaders who can sense a bigger opportunity, but need a sharper view of what to change, what to protect and what to build first.

It is a strong fit if

  • You suspect AI should change the shape of the business, not just speed up the current one.
  • You are under pressure to respond to changing customer expectations, market dynamics or cost structures.
  • You need an outside partner who can move from strategy into operating design and build decisions.
  • You want a clearer first move before committing to a larger programme of work.

It is not the right fit if

  • You only want a generic AI-readiness score.
  • You are looking for a long list of disconnected automation ideas.
  • You need training without any change to the work itself.
  • You want technology deployed without leadership, governance or people decisions.

Looking for AI strategy, governance or implementation?

Those are useful entry points. We connect them into one question: what business should you build now that AI exists?

Our work

Strategic enough to redesign it. Technical enough to build it.

We do not stop at a report. Our work turns strategic opportunity into governed systems, operating flow and tools people can actually use.

Events Industry / SaaS

From speaker administration to a purpose-built conference platform

The constraint: Event teams were managing speakers, contracts, content, schedules and presentation files across email threads and disconnected tools.

The build: SPKR created a dedicated operating system for speaker management, including call-for-papers, speaker portals, scheduling, contracts and bulk presentation workflows.

The value: The work moved from manual coordination to a platform shaped around the real economics and pressure points of conference delivery.

Events Industry / CRM

From generic CRM drag to an industry-specific operating flow

The constraint: Generic CRM software did not reflect the relationships between venues, speakers, sponsors, attendees and delivery partners.

The build: A purpose-designed event CRM created pipelines, contact management and workflows around how event businesses actually sell and deliver.

The value: The team stopped bending their work around generic software and gained clearer market, relationship and delivery intelligence.

Leadership & Organisational Development / SaaS

From assessment PDFs to living team intelligence

The constraint: HBDI and Whole Brain Thinking insights often create value in workshops, then disappear into static files and one-off notes.

The build: Collabor8IQ turns assessment material into individual profiles, team dashboards and an AI Q&A layer with coaching guardrails.

The value: Team intelligence becomes available inside daily decisions, not only during facilitated sessions.
